Scheduled Maintenance can be carried out at night to reduce down time with the fleet.
Powered by the sun the complex may well be the only one of its kind in the world.
The facility boasts air conditioned rooms, refrigeration, printers, Wi Fi, compressors, powerful lead lighting, security cameras and all the machinery required to operate a modern aircraft maintenance facility.
After 18 months of efficient operation this bold leap into the unknown has proven to be a huge success for Daintree Air Services, for Cooktown and for the environment.

Scott Morrisson The Prime Minister of Australia officially opened the facility on January 22, 2019.
